2.       Strengthen knowledge, understanding and practical skills in the following areas:

·         Identifying, designing and applying mediation processes in conflict situations;

·         Developing communication skills for negotiation and mediation;

·         Creatively handling emotions, issues and interests of parties through skills development and understanding of mediation processes;

·         Developing skills and knowledge of mediation through participation in role-plays, simulations and a variety of exercises;

·         Critically assessing and identifying the appropriate use of mediation in different contexts.
