Objectives:
This course is designed to clarify obvious way of safe operations performance by preventing work incidents and accidents. How the failure in some safe operations can be literary fatal will be demonstrated. The importance of learning from all safety rules and procedures and have plans in place which helps them minimize incidents and accidents and their effect will be discussed. OSHA principles, concepts and systems by which organizations provide safe and healthful workplaces and taking care of their physical facilities will be thoroughly explained. Benefits of OSHA and how its supervisor’s activities will account for a significant proportion of operations management's time, attention and how it will save money and improve reputation will be covered. The course aims to view the role of safety supervisor on effective OSHA implementation. OSHA concepts, examples and case studies shall be given from a wide variety of engineering and management discipline.
