Overview

This course is designed to increase awareness of how to prevent violent episodes at work.  Participants learn tips to help them assess violent acts and threats of violence and what to do to deal with them appropriately.   The course meets the training requirements for many private employers and private and government agencies.

This interactive course uses case exercises to walk through crisis situations, learn to apply appropriate strategies to control anger, defuse hostility, and control episodes of workplace violence
